Not very many people enjoy cleaning house. Unless you're like Monica on Friends, it's just a necessary part of life. It's just something that has to be done, though it isn't fun. There are a few home organization tips for cleaning that can help trim that time down and make cleaning easier.

Having duplicate cleaning products will make cleaning easier, especially if you have an average size or large home. Store one set downstairs and one upstairs. Even if you live in a one story house, keeping cleaning products in each bathroom can save you time. This keeps you from having to go back and get something that you may have forgotten.

Another suggestion is to store cleaning products in a small bucket and carry it with you as you clean. Use a multipurpose cleaner when possible. This will decrease the amount of cleaners you need.

If you are able, keep products that you would use in a certain room in that location. For instance, don't store kitchen cleaning products in the bathroom closet. It may seem logical to keep all cleaning products together, but, it is much easier to keep them in the room where they will be used.

No matter where you store your cleaning products, make sure they are out of the reach of children. Keep them in a locked cabinet or far out of reach. Use a very secure lock if you decide to keep them in a cabinet. If you use the kind that releases the door when you press down on it, a three year old can figure that out. When cleaning, make sure the bucket full of cleaners stays out of the reach of children.

These are just a few home organization tips to make cleaning quicker. The kinds of products you have and where you store them can lessen your cleaning time.
